Global Youth Leaders' Summit 2021

The Global Youth Leaders' Summit has always been a platform for the communities of youth all over the world to share about the current happenings and issues they are facing.

It falls on us as future leaders, to sift through all the noise and find what really matters to us during this trying times. This 17th of July, we held our 13th edition of the Global Youth Leaders' Summit, to discuss the matters, words and actions that truly matter to us youth, and how we can learn from it.

This year’s hybrid-experience Summit was especially unique, with the physical arrival of our Guests of Honour, Minister of State, Ministry of Education & Ministry of Manpower, Ms Gan Siow Huang and GPC Chairman for Communications and Information, Character & Leadership Academy Patron and Member of Parliament Ms Tin Pei Ling, alongside Special Guests, HE Mr MC Mokitlane and Mr. Nick Vujicic.

We were also privileged to have Thought Leader and Founder of From Doing To Dreaming Mr. Lawrence Lim and Executive Director of The Majurity Trust Mr. Martin Tan joining Mr. Vujicic as our speakers this year.

This year's Summit saw an interesting panel of thought leaders: CEO of National Youth Council Mr. David Chua, Generation Grit Awardee and Educator Mr Wong Zi Heng and Jason Chua, founder of Beng Who Cooks. Their authentic sharing of their experience and perspectives on how we as a youth collective can take effect on Matters close to our hearts and be more effective leaders was inspiring.

Last by not least, back by popular demand, we had Doctor and Comedian Dr Jason Leong as our Enter-Speaker this year. He, too, shared heartfelt advice for our attendees.

We hope that all our attendees, local and from abroad, had takeaways from this year's Summit, and are inspired to apply their learning in their communities. Remember to cherish the #MattersthatMatter, speak #WordsthatMatter, and commit to #ActionsthatMatter!

Till next year!

The Global Youth Leaders' Summit 2021 is organised by Character & Leadership Academy, FutuReady Asia Singapore and Innotrek. Supported by Musim Mas BlueStar* Fund.
